In conjunction with Belleville Open Doors being held on Saturday, September 13th, Eastminster's Women's Group will visit the Glanmore National Historic Site, 257 Bridge St. East, Belleville.  We will meet at the church at 10:30 a.m to carpool to the site.  Lunch location:  TBD. On September 7th our service will include a very special "Blessing of the Backpacks" where our backpacks for those in need will be blessed but also where we will bless the backpacks of all our young people heading back to school.  Our Sunday school will also resume on this Sunday!
Following the service our Fellowship team will be hosting a lunch in the Bentley Auditorium. The menu will include hotdogs, drinks and a special Sundae Bar with all the fixin's! Everyone is welcome!

Tony Vani has put together a 5 piece band of renowned local musicians. They will play many of the very memorable songs from the Great Canadian Songbook, particularly those of the folk and pop artists from the 1960s and 70s. There will also be a bit of country and Maritime music thrown in just for good measure and variety. Hope you enjoy. But you only can if you buy a ticket and attend on Wednesday July 30th at 7:00. The Eastminster’s United Church Men’s Club will be hosting a treat for the whole family, including fresh local strawberries, homemade cake and delicious ice cream on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 5 - 7 pm. On Saturday, June 14th the women of Eastminster will be touring the Belleville Cemetery, 631 Dundas St W, Belleville at 10:00 am. for a walking tour of the grounds (a map of the walking paths at Belleville Cemetery will be provided).   We will have an opportunity to join an event being hosted by the Belleville Historical Society (10:00 am - 12:00 pm; admission fee $10) in the St. James Cemetery adjacent to the Belleville Cemetery.  Costumed re-enacters will be bringing to life, stories of some of Belleville's illustrious and interesting families. Lunch will follow at the Piper's Arms.  Please add your name to the sign-up sheet found on the Welcome Table in the Narthex.
