On September 13th our service will include a very special "Blessing of the Backpacks" where our backpacks for those in need will be blessed but also where we will bless the backpacks of all our young people heading back to school.  Our Sunday school will also resume on this Sunday!
Following the service our Fellowship team will be hosting a lunch in the Bentley Auditorium. The menu will include hotdogs, drinks and a special Sundae Bar with all the fixin's! Everyone is welcome!

On Saturday,September 12th Belleville is holding an "Open Doors" and the group will be taking advantage of this opportunity to visit City Hall.  We will be lunching at Bourbon Street Pizza in the Market Square at 12:30 pm!  Carpooling will be available for those wishing to do so.  Meet-up at the church at 10:30 am., leaving at 10:45 am.  Lunch at 12:30 pm.  The sign-up sheet can be found at the Welcome Desk.

NOTE: As City Hall is centrally located, carpooling will be as follows: those living in the East will meet at the Church and those living in the West will meet at the Shoppers Drug Mart plaza at Sidney & Bridge St.  If you are able to be a designated driver, please let Kimber know. (Kimber can accommodate 3 people coming from the West end.)  Please indicate your need for a ride and from which end, on the sign-up sheet.  Meet-up at the pickup sites @ 10:30am., leaving @  10:45 am. Lunch @ 12:30 pm.

The Eastminster’s United Church Men’s Club will be hosting a treat for the whole family, including fresh local strawberries, homemade cake and delicious ice cream on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. On June 7th at 10 am., join the United Churches of Belleville and Surrounding Area for a Community Celebration of Worship at the Lions' Pavilion. This outdoor service features live music, guest preacher Rev. Eric Hebert-Daly, free children's activities, and refreshments. Donations are welcome in support of United Church food programs in the Quinte area. In case of rain, the service will move to St. Matthew's United Church, 25 Holloway St, Belleville, ON. There will be no service at Eastminster this Sunday.
