Contemporary worship

Music is a big part of Eastminster’s ministry. We love to sing and our Director of Music, George, leads us each Sunday and at other services.

The style

  • George blends contemporary and traditional hymns, assisted by our Chancel Choir and occasional worship teams and soloists.

The choir

  • The Chancel Choir has approximately twenty-five regular singers and under George’s leadership has won a number of awards at the annual Stirling Sacred Music Festival. The camaraderie experienced in the choir at practice Thursday evenings and on Sundays is wonderful. If you would like to join our choir, please speak to George or contact the church.

Special musical events

  • Cantata: Each Christmas season the Choir puts on a Cantata for a packed house at Eastminster and also at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on a Sunday evening. It is a much-anticipated event in our community.

  • Contemporary Worship Service: From time to time, George works with our Lead Minister to include guitars, drums, additional keyboards and other instruments in our services. It is always good to have our young people participate and lead in contemporary worship.

  • Watch our Events page for the latest news.
